Role Overview:

We are looking for a talented, creative, and user-focused Graduate UX/UI Designer to help us reimagine our website and achieve our key user journey outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including the Project Manager and Software Engineer, to redesign core features and layouts of the Pets24 website, optimising for usability, accessibility, and conversion rates.

You will also contribute to the creation of eye-catching marketing collateral that aligns with our brand identity and supports our marketing campaigns across social media, newsletters, and advertisements. Responsibilities:

Conceptualise, design, and deliver website features and pages that prioritise optimal user journeys, usability, and conversion rates.
Create and deliver visually appealing and brand-consistent marketing collateral for social media, newsletters, and advertisement campaigns.
Conduct trend and market research to inform design decisions and ensure our designs remain modern, user-friendly, and competitive.
Collaborate with the Project Manager and Software Engineer to implement design improvements and features that enhance the overall user experience.
Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders.
Participate in usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
Maintain brand consistency across all designs and contribute to the evolution of Pets24’s visual identity.

Job requirements

Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Proficiency in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, including wireframing, prototyping, and responsive design.
Strong knowledge of design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), or similar tools.
A strong portfolio showcasing previous website and digital product designs, with a focus on UX/UI and user-centered design methodologies.
Strong analytical skills to interpret and apply user research, trend analysis, and market insights into your designs.
Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to discuss and defend design decisions clearly.
Interest in or knowledge of the pet-care industry is a plus but not required.
