We started in 2020 by providing these companies with a dynamic pricing solution which increase revenue by on average 30%. What Will You Do?

Our technology team is building a platform of solutions that will help accommodation providers optimise the way they run their business. We are investing a lot in R&D with the intention to double the amount of products we host on our platform by the end of the year, and as such we are expanding our engineering team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic PHP Backend Developer to join us on our exciting journey. You will be dedicated to one of our three main technology areas, working hands-on on architectural design, development, deployment and maintenance of backend microservices. You will have ownership of the product and will come up with innovative solutions and ideas to technical problems whilst working collaboratively with a wider team of engineers and team leaders on critical issues.

You will be responsible for:

Backend Development: architectural design, coding and deployment of new product features and microservices
Maintenance of the existing product: identifying bottlenecks and areas of optimisation to ensure high quality performance
Product ownership: create innovative solutions to deal with technical issues and ideas for increasing product performance
Collaborative working: with our team of wider engineers and product managers to deliver high quality solutions and new product features
Adhere to best engineering practices: ensure code quality by writing clean, maintainable code and performing code reviews

What Are We Looking For?

Experience as a PHP Backend Developer in a start-up or scale-up environment
In depth knowledge of PHP (Laravel)
Knowledge of Docker and k8s
Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Circle CI)
Knowledge of databases as Postgres and Cassandra (or equivalents)
Experience with Kafka (or equivalents) and distributed applications (microservices)
