About the Position
As a QA Engineer, you have the opportunity to contribute to the quality and reliability of production of web applications. In your day to day work you will be focusing on testing activities. Additionally, you will work closely with PM, designers, and developers to provide early feedback on new functionalities being designed, prepare automation tests and protect the scope of each sprint.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute test cases aligned to the test strategy of the QA team
Responsible for conducting successful functional testing on the product
Report defects clearly to the development team and product manager
Responsible for writing and executing test cases aligned to product requirements
Ability in writing test scenarios in line with the business workflows
Ability in analyzing requirements and seeking inputs for writing test plan
Ability in understanding systems requirements specifications and working accordingly
Recognize potential problems in new product requirements early on
Proactively find new ways to test and improve the product and share the findings with the QA team
Any other ad hoc activities
Requirements
2 - 4 years of experience testing web and/or mobile applications
Experience of working as a member of a SCRUM team with understanding of Agile principles
Good written and oral communication skills with peers and management
Experience working with Jira
Experience writing E2E tests using Selenium and Python is a big plus
Comfortable in an English speaking environment
