I'm the founder. I run a portfolio of US brands β€” Turf Distributors, Interlocking Products, Biltright, Workhorse Grinders, and more. Real products, real revenue, old-school industries we're winning with modern marketing.

We have a Performance Marketing Lead running the ad accounts. We source on-camera content with creators in the US. What we don't have is the person in the middle β€” the one who takes raw footage and turns it into thirty different ads, knows which three of them will work before they launch, and has the next batch ready before the last one fatigues.

Creative is the last real lever in paid media. Targeting is automated. Bidding is automated. The ad is the variable. I'm looking for someone who understands that in their bones and wants to be measured on it.

If you're an editor who waits for a brief, close this tab. If you've made ads that scaled and you can point to them, keep reading.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Volume with intent. Turn every raw shoot into a full slate of ads β€” hooks, cuts, lengths, aspect ratios, formats. Twenty-plus new variants a week is the floor, not the win.

  • Creative strategy, not just editing. You decide what angle to test and why. You bring concepts to the table; you don't wait to be handed them.

  • Hooks. The first three seconds. You'll write, cut, and test more hooks than anyone you've worked with, and you'll know your hook rate on every one.

  • Every platform, natively. Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google Demand Gen/PMax. What wins on each is different and you know the difference cold.

  • Static and motion. Feed statics, carousels, display, Amazon A+ content, landing page and email assets. Not everything is a video.

  • Audience translation. Six brands, six buyers β€” a homeowner buying garage tile is not a contractor buying turf pallets is not a concrete crew buying a grinder. You research who's actually buying and cut for them specifically.

  • Competitive intelligence. Living swipe file per brand. You know what competitors are scaling and how long they've been running it.

  • AI production. You use modern AI tools to output like a five-person team β€” generation, upscaling, voice, avatars, auto-captioning, batch workflows. This is not optional; it's the entire reason one person can cover six brands.

  • Creator direction. You write the shot lists and scripts our US creators shoot against, so what comes back is actually cuttable.

  • Organic repurposing. The same footage feeds TikTok, Reels, and Shorts organic. Near-zero marginal cost, real compounding upside.

  • Tracking and reporting. Clean naming conventions, tagged concepts, and a weekly read on what won, what died, and what's next. If we can't tell which hook drove the result, the test didn't happen.

YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU CAN HONESTLY SAY YES TO ALL OF THIS

  • You've made ads that scaled β€” real spend behind them β€” and you can show me the ad and the number next to it.

  • You can name three ads of yours that beat control and explain exactly why they did. If the answer is "the client liked it," you're not the person.

  • You're fast. Genuinely fast. Not "fast for an agency."

  • You're expert-level in your edit stack β€” Premiere/After Effects or CapCut Pro at production speed β€” and equally comfortable in Photoshop, Figma, or Canva for statics.

  • You use AI daily and can describe your actual workflow, tool by tool.

  • Strong written and spoken English. You'll talk to me and to our marketing lead constantly.

  • Ownership mentality. You think in CPA and ROAS, not deliverables submitted.

HOW TO APPLY β€” AND HOW I'LL KNOW YOU'RE REAL

Talkers can't fake this. Doers will breeze it. Send me all four:

  1. Three ads you personally made that performed. Link them. For each: the brand, the spend behind it, the result, and one sentence on why it worked. Redact what you must β€” it has to be real and yours.

  2. Pick one of our brands (turfdistributors.com, interlockingproducts.com, biltright.com). Tell me who the buyer is, what our current creative gets wrong, and the first five ad concepts you'd shoot or cut. Be specific.

  3. A 3–5 minute Loom β€” screen-share and your voice β€” walking me through #1 and #2. I want to see how you think about a hook and how you communicate in English.

  4. Read the whole ad? Start your subject line with the word HOOK followed by the best-performing ad you've personally made (e.g. "HOOK β€” 3.1x ROAS on $180k spend, DTC home goods"). Anything else gets deleted.

Send everything to natalie.romero@thedgcompany.com first great applicant wins].

How this starts: strongest applicants get a paid 30-day trial. I'll hand you real raw footage from one brand and a deadline. You'll cut a full slate and we'll run it. Hit the numbers and the full-time seat and bonus structure are yours.

DON'T BOTHER APPLYING IF...

  • You're an agency or studio pitch in disguise β€” this is a full-time, in-house contractor seat.

  • You're a beautiful-brand-film editor. This is direct response. Ugly and profitable beats gorgeous and quiet, every time.

  • You need a finished brief before you can start.

  • You can't point to a specific ad you made and the number it produced.

  • You skipped the subject-line step.

If you're the creative operator I'm describing, you already know it. Prove it.
