Off-page SEO Manager (iGaming US Market)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Off-page SEO Manager to lead our external optimization efforts and drive domain authority growth through strategic link building campaigns. This role requires a proven track record in acquiring high-quality backlinks, managing outreach teams, and executing comprehensive off-page SEO strategies that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Link Building Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive off-page SEO strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings

  • Create and execute large-scale link building campaigns across multiple projects and domains

  • Identify and evaluate high-quality link opportunities through competitor analysis and market research

  • Build and maintain relationships with webmasters, bloggers, and industry influencers

  • Monitor and analyze backlink profiles to ensure quality and relevance

Team Leadership & Campaign Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of outreach specialists and link builders

  • Establish link building processes, guidelines, and quality standards

  • Manage multiple concurrent off-page campaigns with varying timelines and objectives

  • Coordinate with content teams to develop linkable assets and guest post content

  • Track team performance and provide regular coaching and feedback

Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Develop and manage comprehensive outreach campaigns for link acquisition

  • Create compelling outreach templates and communication strategies

  • Negotiate link placements and partnership agreements

  • Build long-term relationships with high-authority websites and publishers

  • Manage guest posting programs from pitch to publication

Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor backlink acquisition progress and campaign performance metrics

  • Conduct regular link audits and disavow toxic or low-quality links

  • Analyze competitor link building strategies and identify new opportunities

  • Provide detailed reports on link building ROI and domain authority improvements

  • Use data insights to optimize and refine off-page strategies

Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in link building and off-page SEO

  • 2+ years in managerial or team leadership positions in SEO or digital marketing

  • Proven track record of acquiring high-quality, editorial backlinks at scale

  • Experience managing link building budgets and vendor relationships

Off-page SEO Expertise

  • Guest posting campaigns: End-to-end management from prospect research to content publication

  • Link prospecting: Advanced techniques for identifying high-DR, relevant link opportunities

  • Outreach strategies: Email outreach, relationship building, and conversion optimization

  • Broken link building: Identifying and capitalizing on broken link opportunities

  • Resource page link building: Securing placements on industry resource pages

  • Digital PR and brand mentions: Converting unlinked mentions into backlinks

  • Competitor analysis: Reverse-engineering successful link building strategies

  • Link reclamation: Recovering lost or broken backlinks

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency in link building tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Majestic, BuzzStream)

  • Experience with outreach platforms (Pitchbox, NinjaOutreach, or similar)

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console and link analysis

  • Understanding of anchor text optimization and link velocity

  • Familiarity with content management systems for guest post publishing

  • Excel/Google Sheets proficiency for campaign tracking and reporting

Industry Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of Google's link quality guidelines and algorithm updates

  • Knowledge of link valuation metrics (DR, DA, Trust Flow, Citation Flow)

  • Awareness of penalty risks and white-hat link building practices

  • Understanding of content marketing as it relates to link acquisition

  • Familiarity with HARO, journalist outreach, and digital PR tactics
