The Role
We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to own the content and social tactical strategy that brings Time Doctor’s brand, product, and GTM strategy to life across channels. This role sits at the center of content execution. You’ll translate top-down strategy into clear editorial priorities, content programs, and social execution, while ensuring content is consistent, high-quality, and aligned with business goals.
You’ll manage our content calendar, lead content and social execution across two brands, and line-manage key roles including SEO and copywriting.
What You’ll Own
Content Strategy (Tactical)
Translate company and marketing strategy into executable content and social plans
Define quarterly content programs and editorial themes
Balance content across campaign and launch content, SEO-driven content, Thought leadership and executive content
Editorial Planning & Governance
Own the master content and social calendar across Time Doctor and Running Remote
Prioritize requests from Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Storytelling, and Campaigns
Make clear calls on what ships, what gets deprioritized, and when content goes live
Content Execution
Own content execution across Website, Blog, Social media and Supporting distribution channels (email and amplification)
Own website and blog content strategy and execution, including content tied to campaigns, launches, and thought leadership
Ensure website content is aligned with positioning and GTM priorities and maintained and iterated over time
Manage social strategy and execution
Ensure all content created is clear, consistent, and aligns with brand tone, positioning, and audience expectations
GEO/SEO Collaboration
Line-manage the SEO Manager
Ensure content planning and briefs support SEO and AI-driven discoverability
Collaborate closely with SEO to integrate priorities into the editorial roadmap
(SEO and GEO KPIs are owned by the SEO Manager, not this role)
Content Operations & Quality
Own content briefing frameworks and editorial standards
Manage in-house and freelance copy resources
Review and approve content briefs and final outputs
Oversee publishing workflows and QA processes
Performance & Reporting
Track and report on Content output and cadence, Engagement and traffic trends and Content contribution to pipeline (in partnership with Demand Gen and RevOps)
Use insights to inform iteration and prioritization
Job requirements
What We’re Looking For
5+ years experience in Content Marketing in B2B SaaS. Experience in Workforce Analytics, HR Tech a bonus
Experience owning editorial calendars and content prioritization
Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and content discoverability
Proven experience managing writers, freelancers, or SEO partners
Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Demand, and Brand
Strong editorial judgement and ability to say “no” when needed
Experience owning or contributing to social strategy
Data-informed mindset with the ability to connect content to business impact
Comfort balancing strategy with hands-on execution
Strong judgment around prioritization and content quality
Nice to Have
Experience supporting thought leadership or executive content
Exposure to multi-brand content strategies
Familiarity with AI-driven search, GEO, or content optimization trends
