Product at TRACTIAN

The Product organization identifies and scopes out the most impactful opportunities for Tractian to tackle. Our Product team have a deep understanding of the business and are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams across the company around key decisions. They work most closely with the Engineering, Data and Design teams to set a well thought-out product strategy and define a roadmap that ensures Tractian's products continue to evolve for the benefit of our customers.

What you'll do

As an UI Designer you must have in-depth experience with product designs, high visual standards, and the user journey. The person who fills this role should also be experienced working cross functionally with key groups such as engineering, customer success, etc. Design areas will include focus on user needs, navigation, interaction design, and business/user process engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead products in Tractian's solution, including areas like condition monitoring, asset management, etc. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization

  • Develop and manage digital design guidelines and requirements in alignment with overall brand for a variety of technologies (web, mobile, etc.)

  • Adhere to visual guidelines, CSS standards, UI library components and defined design language for the web, and communicate design, rationale and decisions supporting UI/UX collaboration

  • Design UI experiences and ensure consistency across all our digital properties (web, email, landing pages, etc.) and technologies (web, mobile, etc.)

  • Partner with engineering, operations and data teams to define new products and features and launch them

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of demonstrated ability as a User Experience Designer involving human interactions.

  • Knowledge of UI design and prototyping with a history of successful project execution and the ability to design and build personas.

  • Knowledge of responsive grid systems in layouts

  • Must understand design constraints such as browser capabilities, media types, platform differences, and operating systems.

  • Strong ability to craft a clear narrative and paint a vision that communicates and aligns teams

  • Quick learner with exceptional prioritization skills to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
