Solution Engineer - Federal

The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Solutions Engineer to support our rapidly expanding Federal market. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and designing solutions for complex technical problems faced by our DoD clients. You will work closely with our sales team, software developers, and project managers to ensure that our products and services meet the specific needs of our DoD clients.

Responsibilities

  • Become a product expert by developing a thorough understanding of our software products and capabilities, and use this knowledge to help us deliver high-impact solutions to clients

  • Lead all aspects of the technical sales process including product alignment, data environment discovery, and product capability demonstrations.

  • Lead pre-sales customer engagements to ensure capability alignment, including customer PoCs, training, and evaluations.

  • Support the smooth transition to solution delivery by thoroughly understanding the customer environment, data requirements, and resulting solution complexity.

  • Conceive and drive new ways to use our product in support of evolving customer requirements and operating environments.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years in a software technical pre-sales role selling to the US government

  • Fluent in python, with an emphasis on data analysis

  • Experience selling in the AI/ML product space

  • Proven record of successful sales delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to technical and executive level audiences

  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship and with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required by the DoD for a security clearance.

Recommended:

  • Government or DoD/IC experience prior to your pre-sales experience, eg previous uniformed service

  • Experience in the field of aircraft maintenance

  • Active security clearance

  • Experience with the full Machine Learning lifecycle (inception to production)

  • Located in the Washington DC region
