Senior UI/ UX Designer

Wolcen is looking for a passionate UI/ UX Senior Designer, interested in working within a multi-cultural team and Unreal Engine 5 in our journey to develop and work on very interesting projects. The ideal candidate is organized and self-motivated and must work well with others, enjoy, and seek out collaboration.

You will work with multiple disciplines to identify effective solutions.

This is a full-time position. We are all currently working remotely, but you are welcome to work from our office in Nice, FR, or remain fully remote.

What you will do as a Senior UI/UX Designer at Wolcen:

• Create modern UI, Icons, textures and patterns

• Understand core UX principles. Use Figma mockups to propose multiple UX solutions in congruence with Game Design requirements

• Propose strong aesthetic compositions that respect the hierarchy of information.

• Create prototypes in Ureal Engine

• Work with Art direction and help define a style with a strong identity

• Collaborate with the UI programmer’s team and implement your assets and blueprints directly in UE

• You are responsible to bridge 3 departments: GD, UI Dev and Art

• Being able to work autonomously, capable of giving yourself feedback and safe guard the quality of the UI

What skills you will use:

• 5+ years of experience. Preferably for PC and console games

• Strong drawing skills

• Solid experience with Photoshop and Unreal

• Solid experience with Figma

• Strong communication skills

• Advanced English skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with Shaders in UE

• Experience with Animations in UE Motion design experience

• Capable of developing specific Fonts is a bonus

• Experience with 3D software

• Knowledge about website building
