Senior Graphic Designer, Packaging

The role

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio of high-quality packaging design to work cross-functionally for an in-house design studio to support one of our largest consumer tech clients! The ideal candidate will have cross-functional experience within an in-house design studio, with experience in the production execution of print assets and the creative conceptualization process. You will become a pivotal creative force, collaborating to conjure imaginative solutions, spanning from concept to the final delivery of packaging and inbox collateral!

What you’ll do

You’ll be responsible for a a wide spectrum of projects, ranging from providing creative input for packaging and collateral assets in the context of print and retail, to localized user manuals. You must be jazzed for the production execution of print assets as well!

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Operate in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with a mix of deadlines, stakeholders, and project types

  • Engage in all phases of the creative development process, from conceptualization to tactical execution and final asset production

  • Fearlessly present your creative ideas while remaining open to established business practices that drive real-world success

  • Contribute to the evolution of materials for all design projects presented to you

  • Collaborate with the Associate Creative Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality, globally-relevant creative content

  • Adapt to diverse projects, from creativity to production, with flexibility and timeliness

  • No matter the project's scale, you'll approach all design tasks with the same meticulous attention to detail and care

About you

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in graphic design packaging at an agency or consumer packaging company (portfolio/samples required)

  • Exhibit deep graphic design skills with a love for typography, composition, design thinking and brand development

  • Strong eye for aesthetics and design with a good understanding of print production process

  • Design and prepare detailed files for print and effectively manage file version-control processes

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate your design thinking throughout all stages of design and production to senior creative leadership

  • Fully proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Office 365, and Figma

  • Knowledge of DAM Systems / Work Management Systems

  • Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or a related degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent professional experience
