Senior PPC Manager - Paid Search

The role

We’re looking for a strategic Senior PPC Manager to join one of our Digital Marketing client teams! The ideal candidate will have extensive digital agency experience managing mid- to large-size PPC client accounts and thoroughly enjoy doing paid search!

What you’ll do

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Plan a media strategy, execute against the plan, and manage and lead an execution team

  • Work with clients across verticals and industries and keep on the cutting edge of the digital advertising field

  • Act as a client and internal liaison by setting expectations, leading reporting calls, developing and delivering monthly strategic reports, communicating key metrics, goals, and optimization opportunities

About you

  • An expert in the paid search channel (Google and Bing) and is conversant in one or more other performance media channels

  • 5+ years of experience directly managing paid search media accounts within a Digital Agency

  • Served in a client-facing role and proven strength at explaining concepts and marketing strategies.

  • Seek ongoing knowledge of evolving digital media tools, trends, and tactics as a resource for agency teams

  • Understand the differences and challenges between working with small and large budgets

  • Fluent in Google Ads and Bing Editors

  • Proficient in Google Sheets and/or Excel and familiar with task management systems

  • Have used 3rd party tracking tools (e.g., Google Tag Facebook pixel, Hotjar, etc.) and reporting dashboards (e.g., Google Data Studio)

  • Bid management tools such as Marin, Optmyzr is a plus

  • Certified in Google Ads and Google Analytics; Facebook Blueprint is a plus

  • Understanding of SEO, optimizing ROAS (return-on-ad-spend) and/or CPO (cost-per-order)

  • Experience in optimizing CPA (cost-per-acquisition) and foot traffic and/or intent-to-visit

  • B2B - experience in copywriting and targeting B2B and B2C
