Summary
The Web Development & Digital Marketing Manager plays a critical and foundational role in establishing and shaping YA’s digital presence. This is a unique hybrid position that blends strategic oversight with technical web development. You will own the full digital experience including managing and building our website, leading performance-driven marketing campaigns, and creating the systems and workflows that enable us to scale. The ideal candidate is highly technical, passionate about staying on the cutting edge of web technologies, and eager to build from scratch. In addition to working closely with cross-functional teams to execute high-impact campaigns and website enhancements, this person in this role will manage a direct report initially and grow the team as needed
Role & Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across platforms (e.g., web, email, search, social).
Build and manage the company website in partnership with external agencies, including content updates, landing page creation, and environment support, and performance optimization.
Write clean, responsive front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and manage CMS platforms (WordPress) to support website development and enhancements and content execution. Conduct website audits and implement strategies to improve search and generative engine rankings and web traffic.
Manage website integrations with platforms like Coveo, Vimeo, Google Analytics, SEMRush, and HubSpot and ensure proper tracking across digital properties.
Create and maintain workflows and content publishing guides for how website content is published, ensuring scalability and consistency.
Develop and report on KPIs for digital campaigns, using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and HubSpot.
Plan and run paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, ), including landing page creation and analytics setup.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support marketing goals, business development, and branding initiatives.
Partner with design and content teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continually refine and innovate digital strategies.
Ensure ADA compliance and web best practices are maintained.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, web development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
9+ years of digital marketing experience with 3+ years in front-end web development.
Proven experience managing WordPress, or similar CMS platforms.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript required; familiarity with frameworks like React or Vue is a plus.
Knowledge of SEO/SEM/GEO, email marketing, social media marketing, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
Experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEM Rush, HubSpot, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
Experience managing or mentoring team members. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills; able to create repeatable workflows and documentation.
A data-driven mindset with a strong understanding of digital analytics and A/B testing.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
