Senior Back-End Developer

We're looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join our team and help us shape a game-changing product.

Zeely AI is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate viral UGC videos and ad creatives, and launch high-performing campaigns on Facebook and Instagram — empowering small businesses to get noticed and grow.

What you'll be doing:

• Developing and maintaining the back-end of our web applications

• Designing and building REST APIs

• Working with PostgreSQL and Redis databases

• Integrating with third-party APIs

• Deploying and managing apps on AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront)

• Writing unit and integration tests

• Optimizing application performance

• Fixing bugs and resolving issues

• Writing and maintaining technical documentation

• Participating in code reviews

What we’re looking for:

• 6+ years of commercial experience in Node.js

• 2+ years working with the NestJS framework

• 2+ years of experience with microservices architecture

• Solid experience building REST APIs and handling data streams

• 3+ years working with Redis and PostgreSQL, including data modeling, indexing, caching, and using ORMs (Prisma/TypeORM/Drizzle ORM)

• Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, SQS, CloudFront)

• 2+ years of experience with message brokers

• 2+ years of experience working with payment systems

• 2+ years of experience with Docker

• Experience integrating third-party APIs

• Understanding of scalable and reliable systems design

• Proficient in version control systems like Git

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Clean, readable, and efficient coding style

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Nice to have:

• Valid AWS Certification

• Upper-Intermediate English

• Experience with high-load systems

• Backend experience for iOS, Android, and web apps

• Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi

• Experience working with AI APIs
