Senior Treasury Manager
Who we're looking for
Zendesk is looking for a Senior Manager to join a team that is tasked to assist in scaling the global treasury functions in the Manila Center of Excellence. In this role, you will play a key part in developing the overall strategic vision as well as leading the day-to-day operations of the treasury function, including improving and implementing global policies, enhancing processes and technology platforms in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with key partners from Finance & Strategy, Accounting, Legal and IT to optimize banking operations, enhance cash flow forecast and visibility, transformational projects, controls among others. This role reports to the VP of Tax & Treasury.
What you'll be doing
Drive growth and scalability by supporting global treasury team to optimize strategies, initiatives that enables the organization to achieve its goals and ambition to iconic
Assess overall risk around cash management, payment processing, banking systems, assist in intercompany funding processes, enhance and implement the overall strategy to mitigate risks and optimizing opportunities and SOX control support
Drive policies and controls to provide effective stewardship of Zendesk’s cash across multiple entities.
Develop management reports to support free cash flow management, create other income and expense forecast, prepare management reports for treasury
Identify areas for improvement in Treasury function and work with team members to create roadmap to implement improvements
Lead and mentor team members
What you bring to the role
10+ years experience in Treasury operations in a global and publicly traded company multi-national companies, MBA/CFA a plus.
A validated ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives
Consistent record of mentoring and developing talents
An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality
The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and lead a team in a fast-moving environment
An inclination to solve problems systematically via infrastructure and automation.
A builder’s mentality with a willingness to question assumptions and conventional wisdom
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including enhanced senior management and presentation skills
Advanced financial modeling, PowerPoint and Excel (can build complex spreadsheets) skills (G-suite proficiency a plus)
Curious and motivated to learn and master new skills!
In this role, you’ll work primarily remotely with the support of a dynamic and caring team. We’ll provide you with the digital tools and experiences to be together–even when we’re apart. Being digital first doesn’t mean we’re digital only. You’ll also have the flexibility to join us at a Zendesk workspace, in one of our Zendesk offices or our flex office spaces.
