About Us

We're an ultra-premium health performance company serving elite founders and UHNW individuals globally. We install biological operating systems - combining world-class physicians, functional medicine, biohacking, and direct access to our founder's network.

We are scaling rapidly and we need someone who can build and own the financial infrastructure of a high-growth company operating out of a UAE Free Zone. This is not a junior role. We need a finance professional who has done this before — end-to-end, in the UAE, with the compliance and complexity that comes with it.

The Role

You will own the entire finance function and build it out from the ground up. That means hiring, structuring the accounting team, implementing the right systems, establishing financial controls, and ensuring every department is operating within clear financial guidelines.

You report directly to the founder. Your work influences every major business decision. If you want a role where finance sits at the center of strategy - not in the back office - this is it.

What You'll Own

UAE Compliance & Tax

  • Full ownership of UAE VAT compliance - filing, reporting, and ensuring company-wide adherence

  • Maintain compliance with Meydan Free Zone financial regulations and all applicable UAE financial law

  • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed

  • Ensure audit-ready financial documentation at all times

Accounting & Financial Controls

  • Oversee and manage the full accounting function - AP, AR, reconciliation, payroll, and reporting

  • Build and enforce accounting policies and financial controls across the company

  • Ensure every team member and department is adhering to established financial procedures

  • Manage multi-currency transactions across Wio Bank, Mercury, and Wise

  • Review and approve invoices, contractor payments, and client billing

Team Building

  • Identify gaps in the finance function and hire accordingly - accountants, bookkeepers, or financial analysts as the company scales

  • Train and manage the finance team, setting clear KPIs and standards

  • Build a finance department that operates independently and to a world-class standard

Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Produce monthly P&L statements, cash flow reports, and financial summaries for the founder

  • Build and maintain a rolling 3–12 month financial forecast

  • Develop financial models for new service lines, pricing strategies, and growth scenarios

  • Identify cost inefficiencies proactively and surface savings opportunities

Systems & Infrastructure

  • Select, implement, and manage the right accounting software for the business (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, or equivalent)

  • Build scalable financial infrastructure that can support 10x growth

  • Ensure clean, structured data that enables fast, accurate reporting at any time

What We're Looking For

Non-Negotiables

  • 3–5 years of experience in financial management, senior accounting, or as a financial specialist

  • Mandatory: proven, hands-on experience with UAE VAT compliance and filing

  • Knowledge of UAE Free Zone financial regulations

  • Experience owning or significantly contributing to a full finance function

  • Track record of building or managing a finance/accounting team

  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, or equivalent ERP)

  • Multi-currency account management experience

  • Zero-error standard - numbers are either right or wrong

  • Excellent written English - all reports must be founder-ready

Strong Preference For

  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification

  • Experience working in a UAE Free Zone company (Meydan, DIFC, DMCC, or similar)

  • Direct reporting to a founder or C-suite

  • Experience in a fast-scaling startup or premium services company

  • Familiarity with Wio Bank, Mercury, or Wise for business payments

What Success Looks Like

Month 1–2: Audit & Foundation

  • Full audit of existing financial records completed

  • UAE VAT position assessed and any outstanding filings resolved

  • Accounting software selected and implemented

  • Financial controls documented and communicated to all departments

Month 3–6: Ownership

  • Full AP/AR cycle running independently

  • Monthly P&L and cash flow reports delivered consistently

  • Rolling 3-month cash flow forecast live

  • Finance team hiring plan proposed and initiated

Month 7–12: Scale

  • Finance team hired and operational

  • 12-month financial model built and maintained

  • All departments operating within financial guidelines

  • Scalable financial infrastructure in place for growth

  • Clear CFO candidate as company enters next phase

This Role Is Not For You If

  • You have never dealt with UAE VAT compliance first-hand

  • You've only worked in one part of the finance function, not owned it end-to-end

  • You're not comfortable building systems and teams from scratch

  • You need detailed instructions to do your job

  • You treat finance as a back-office function rather than a strategic one
