Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll serve as the champion of our people and culture. Day in and day out, you'll collaborate closely with our Go To Market and Tech teams, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent. Your passion lies in exploring innovative recruitment avenues, engaging with passive talent, and delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.

Working hand-in-hand with team leads, managers, and directors, you'll play a pivotal role in building our exceptional team as we grow. Tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each team, you'll ensure a seamless and consistent experience for candidates across the board. This is a remote opportunity within Canada or the US.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on Go To Market (sales, customer) and Tech talent, showcasing an extensive understanding and proficiency in the technology hiring.

  • Strong sourcing skills using various tools and platforms, coupled with a robust network of talent.

  • Experience building trusted relationships with hiring managers, business leaders, hiring stakeholders, and candidates.

  • Ability to effectively manage change, adapt to advancing work and projects, and navigate challenges with poise.

  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to make informed decisions and drive tasks independently.

  • Eagerness to embrace new tools, processes, and strategies to continuously enhance talent operations.

  • Proficiency in leveraging data to develop and drive recruitment strategies, drive improvements, and educate stakeholders.

  • Ability to influence without authority, guiding hiring partners in best practices and navigating challenging conversations. 

  • A people first approach to your interactions and communications with peers, leadership, as well as internal partners and external candidates. 

What you can expect:

  • Initially, your focus will be on hiring for our Go-to-market teams but you'll pivot seamlessly to meet the varying demands of Tech hiring, and in time you will manage balancing roles from both areas in your portfolio.

  • Lead strategic intake meetings, collaboratively identifying key candidate criteria and devising effective sourcing strategies to target both active and passive talent. Your role involves maintaining a consistent pipeline of candidates to ensure timely placements.

  • Work with hiring managers and stakeholder groups to construct a robust and unbiased interview process that aligns with our business goals and values.

  • From initial intake to closing a candidate, you'll own every aspect of the recruitment cycle. Your comfort and expertise in managing negotiations ensure successful candidate placements.

  • Partner seamlessly with the wider Talent team, including Emerging Talent, Employer Brand & DEIB, and TA Operations mentoring junior Talent team members to support their development. Co-lead on projects to deliver impactful outcomes that drive our talent operations forward.

  • Contribute to our continuous growth and improvement by researching and implementing new tools and programs. Your insights and efforts will further refine our talent operations and strategies.

  • Join a driven and cross-collaborative team where support is abundant, and collective problem-solving is the norm. Together, we pivot to tackle the most pressing tasks and drive meaningful impact.

USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $102,000 USD and $138,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $102,000 CAD and $138,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
