Events Marketing Executive

In 2022 Ahrefs held 1 event at our Singapore Headquarters. In 2023 we held 8 plus a conference. In 2024 we will be hosting 12 events plus a much larger conference and add on top of that all of our global partnership events. We're pretty busy, so it's time to grow the team. 

In this role, you’ll be working closely with the international partnerships executive and the marketing events manager among other stakeholders to ensure the smooth planning, coordination and execution of Ahrefs events and sponsorship activities. In addition this role will also be preparing visual communication, working closely with designers, and working on offline brand communication. 

This is a brand new growth role for Ahrefs with plenty of opportunity for the successful candidate to grow, evolve and shape this role as well as their career moving forward.

What the job entails

• Ensure timely and accurate execution of sponsorship contracts according to the terms outlined in the agreement.

• Coordinate and communicate with various third-party entities such as courier services, print shops, and customs offices.

• Organize and oversee the timely delivery of educational materials and promotional items (swag) to conference venues.

The skills you need

• Passion for networking and meeting new people

• Basic knowledge of digital marketing
  

• Strong organisational skills with very good attention to detail

• Ability to work independently 

• Exposure in running and planning events would be advantageous. In particular event technology such as AV setup. 

• Experience in Adobe photoshop or similar software would be beneficial

• Experience on Google Workspace for spreadsheets, documents etc. (MS Office experience is also an advantage)

• Great communication skills in written and spoken english 

• Ability to prioritize effectively
