Audience Engagement Manager

As the Audience Engagement Manager, you will be an integral member of the Events Team, supporting the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) and other AnitaB.org events. You will help drive audience engagement by improving event activations and experiences, creating tutorials, trainings, and videos, and managing event gamification. You will be laser focused on understanding our customers and their needs and ensuring our user experiences meet them. We are seeking a unique individual with a passion for events that possesses both creative storytelling skills and analytical data-driven decision-making skills. The role requires an organized, collaborative, strategic person with great project management and communication skills. You will need proven experience meeting established due dates when facilitating cross-functional projects, using data to inform your project plans and invest others in desired outcomes.

Here's what you'll do  

  • Conduct audience analysis to understand our event customers' needs and behaviors.

  • Collaborate with event leadership and event vendors to develop event activations and experiences that meet user needs.

  • Manage approved event activations and experiences, includes working with cross functional teams to ensure optimal user experience.

  • Plan, manage and implement event gamification.

  • Engage and collaborate with teams across the organization to develop and maintain a deep understanding of all event program elements.

  • Create and maintain library of event program element descriptions as a resource for event, marketing, and business development teams.

  • Plan, design, and produce internal and external training, tutorials, and videos to improve user experience with AnitaB.org events.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to provide our customers with critical event information via web, email, and social media channels.

  • Function as the main point of contact for marketing team for all event team requests, includes providing marketing with accurate content, tracking requests, and reviewing marketing deliverables.

  • Design internal processes that enhance communication, promote transparency, and increase efficiency.

  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing data and feedback, formulating project strategies, and developing project plans.

  • Previous experience planning and implementing event gamification.

  • Previous experience creating training and tutorials in various formats including presentations, videos, and webinars.

  • Previous marketing experience includes creating communications plans and developing web, social media, and email assets.

  • Ability to prioritize and independently manage time on multiple projects simultaneously. Can manage timelines, multiple tasks, and deadlines effectively.

  • Able to grasp all the moving parts of a project or program and communicate those moving parts effectively via presentations, meetings, phone calls, emails, and in person

  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to establish and nurture cross functional relationships.

  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role

  • Ability to travel as position requires.

AnitaB.org is proud to offer a remote, distributed workplace. Please know we cannot accommodate remote work outside of the United States. The salary range for this position is $81,400 - $85,680, plus competitive benefits, including health insurance and a 403(b) discretionary match.
