We're looking for an experienced website owner who is passionate about managing our marketing website like a product. You’ll get to shape all aspects of our website, and you'll collaborate closely with developers, designers, SEO specialists, and product marketers. Together, we aim to create an effective conversion path for visitors that authentically represents our platform offerings and positioning. We're not just building a website; we're crafting a user experience that fosters growth, and we want you to be an integral part of this exciting journey.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Ownership: Envision, strategize, and deliver outcomes that drive conversions, setting the tone for a seamless website experience.

  • Evolve Our Website: Lead the transformation of Amplitude’s website from a single-product focus to a multi-product platform, staying at the forefront of industry trends.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Manage external agencies and internal teams, balancing long-term roadmaps with ad-hoc requests, and participate in sprint planning to ensure engineering success.

  • Performance Marketing Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with our performance marketing team to create customized landing pages optimized for conversion, sharing ownership of acquisition targets.

  • Content Optimization: Collaborate with content teams to optimize the blog for consumption and conversion, creating a harmonious blend of content and functionality.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with the product growth team to enhance conversion paths and drive new sign-ups, ensuring website alignment with overall business goals.

  • Metric-Driven Approach: Identify key metrics for the website, continuously iterate for improvement, and report these insights to the leadership team.

  • Testing and Personalization: Implement a framework for continuous testing and personalization to enhance user experience and drive conversions.

  • Project Support: Drive web-related projects, including building a template library, creating campaign-specific landing pages, and more.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Participate in research and testing, engaging directly with our customers to understand their pain points and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize Amplitude to understand how our customers interact with our website, guiding decisions for future improvements and optimizations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4+ years in marketing or product roles, preferably as a website or product owner. Managing websites or products for a multi-product company is a significant plus.

  • Experimentation Mindset: Well-versed in running experiments and A/B tests to optimize landing page conversions and customize the customer journey.

  • Copywriting Excellence: High competence in crafting impactful, customer-centric copy that resonates with customer needs.

  • CMS Experience: Familiarity with Sanity or other headless CMS tools in the market is an added advantage.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $99,000 - $149,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $111,000 - $166,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $111,000 - $166,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $99,000 - $149,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $99,000 - $149,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
