QA Automation Engineer

The Role

As an early engineer at Angle, you鈥檒l be creating and recommending best practices to ensure all projects are stable and bug free. A successful candidate will need to design, develop and maintain automated test scripts to perform functional, regression, and load testing. You鈥檒l need to collaborate with the engineers to identify bugs and weaknesses.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross functionally with Product and Development teams in test automation

  • Automate and document test case

  • Investigate, evaluate, select, and integrate best available frameworks/tool solutions as required for test automation success

  • Design, implement and promote QA/engineering best practices, bug prevention strategies, and advanced concepts

  • Execute various levels and types of testing such as end-to-end, browser-level and integration testing

  • Set-up and maintain key testing metrics to continually improve our development processes and project outcomes

Additionally, you

  • Work directly with the Head of Engineering to set the standard of high quality products

  • Are an independent working and self-starter

  • Seek to understand the business strategy and needs of our users

What we value

  • 5+ years of QA Automation experience

  • Knowledge of software QA methodology and project management

  • Experience testing and deploying React and/or Python based applications on AWS

  • Hands-on experience in designing automation frameworks for APIs, mobile, and web-based applications

  • Excellent communication skills across teams

  • Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging
