Event Content Specialist

As the Event Content Specialist, you will be an integral team member of the Individual Impact team, supporting the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC), the world’s largest conference for women and non-binary technologists. Reporting to the Director, Event Content, the Event Content Specialist will support the development of content programs for all events, including the execution of a comprehensive curated and community content strategy for GHC, AnitaB.org Elevating Conversations series, Membership, and other events. 

Here's what you'll do  

  • Support the development of content programs for all events, including the execution of curated and community content. 

  • Support the development of content for AnitaB.org events, including drafting session titles and descriptions, panel questions, and more. 

  • Support the external Call for Participation process by reviewing and identifying content for the Event Content team to evaluate for inclusion in AnitaB.org events. 

  • Collaborate with the Event Content team to identify content for curated and community programs for AnitaB.org Events like Grace Hopper Celebration. 

  • Serve as the internal point of contact for content and speaker submissions. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to recruit internal experts to support the review and selection of session and speaker submissions. 

  • Support the review of AnitaB.org event content, including event agendas, session slides, and more. 

  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

  • Experience as a content creator or similar role.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities with the ability to prioritize and independently manage time on multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external users at all levels.   

  • Familiarity with event technology and production tools such as Bizzabo, project management tools such as Monday.com and Microsoft Office tools 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, encouraging positive collaboration.

  • Able to grasp all moving parts of a project or program and communicate those moving parts effectively via presentations, meetings, phone calls, emails, and in person. 

  • Team player, able to receive direction, instruction, and constructive criticism.

  • Administrative sensibilities, able to track and analyze relevant event data.

  • Demonstrated excellence in relationship management.

  • Ability to travel as position requires.

AnitaB.org is proud to offer a remote, distributed workplace. Please know we cannot accommodate remote work outside of the United States. The salary range for this position is $64,900 - $67,140, plus competitive benefits, including health insurance and a 403(b) discretionary match.
