Sr. Executive Assistant

We're looking for a highly organized and strategic Executive Assistant to join our Executive Operations team and support senior leadership at Apartment List. In this role, you will act as an executive business partner that supports and/or drives strategic planning and you will keep the Executive and organization operating effectively and efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to partner with the People Operations team to deliver a world class employee experience for all Apartment List team members.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment with a team of dynamic people across the country. You will also need to be comfortable in a fast paced technology environment using a variety of tools like Google suite, Slack, Zoom and other collaborative forward leaning technology products.
Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:
Enable Executive effectiveness through ensuring proactive communication, time management, task delegation, problem solving and removing roadblocks
Support the Executive and other cross-functional leaders in the development and execution of business strategies, goals and initiatives
Manage timelines, resources and deliverables to drive successful project outcomes
Support and at times drive communication for the Executive in a way that drives clarity, awareness and engagement
Support and at times drive key internal and external events and initiatives on behalf of the Executive, such as team off-sites, virtual all hands and conferences
Take lead in ensuring administrative responsibilities are completed in a timely and high quality manner, such as budget management, data and documentation management and meeting organization

Here are the skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
7+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant or senior project management role or related field
Strong EQ and can build deep connections and relationships with their C-Suite, senior leaders, subsequent orgs and external partners
Driven to anticipate people's needs [a forward-thinker]
Strong organizational, multitasking & time management skills
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities with ability to make trade offs using sound judgment
Able to effectively and creatively problem solve cross functionally
Thrives while working under ambiguity and navigating change
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly proactive and responsive, with calendaring prowess that creates more time in the day
Has unapologetically high standards and is detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work well under limited supervision
Here's the Pay Range:
At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US base salary range for this position is ($103,000 - $124,000) + bonus + equity, which reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer.
We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration. It is always our goal to hire exceptional talent and we would be happy to share more about compensation during the hiring process.
