Program Manager, Paid Search

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a highly-motivated Program Manager, Paid Search who will help us drive efficient customer acquisition while scaling and diversifying our existing paid search strategy.

The ideal candidate is experienced in testing and scaling paid search efforts to meet aggressive acquisition targets while supporting long-term channel growth strategies. You will work cross-functionally as well as with vendors and third-party partners, leading projects and continually optimizing performance across both Brand and Non-brand tactics, including standard search, performance max, discovery and shopping campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in growth/performance marketing, with deep expertise on paid search. This individual must be comfortable with analyzing performance data, reporting on KPIs and delivering actionable insights that drive strategy forward. The role will be part of a fast-paced, analytical yet creative environment that offers the opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business and team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Drive our paid search strategy, measurement, reporting, and testing roadmap.

  • Continuously analyze, experiment, and iterate to improve performance and uncover new opportunities through ad copy, bidding strategy testing, quality score improvement, keyword expansion, landing page testing, product feed optimization, etc.

  • Communicate insights and actionable next steps to key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with Brand, Creative and Digital Product to create effective, performance oriented ad copy, creative and compelling landing pages.

  • Have ownership of a multi-million dollar growth budget and optimize campaigns accordingly to achieve our customer acquisition and performance goals.

  • Manage partnerships with third-party partners and vendors to empower our paid marketing efforts.

  • Maximize growth through data-driven decisions with dedicated resources from creative, partnerships, analytics, and product.

  • Proactively monitor and analyze performance, competitive landscape, and marketplace trends.

  • Own daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly paid search reporting and forecasting; build and maintain reporting dashboards.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 2-4 years of D2C or agency experience.

  • Experience working directly in Google, Bing and SA360 platforms.

  • Experience managing SA360 bid strategies (tCPA, tROAS).

  • Experience managing shopping campaigns in Google Merchant Center.

  • Experience drawing insights from Google Analytics.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Experienced in leading the paid search automation process.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.

  • A desire to follow broader cultural conversation across social media around key topic areas: health and wellness, sports, etc.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive insights.

  • Strong critical thinking skills. You can identify opportunities, anticipate challenges and gaps, and contingency plan accordingly.

  • Solution-oriented with proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability in managing time and tasks associated with fast-paced organization.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.

AG is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $85,000 - $115,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
