About the Role:
The Director of Direct Marketing will be accountable for the growth, development and operational execution of our direct mail channel. Our team is seeking an ambitious, data-driven, execution-oriented marketer to further develop, improve and grow the direct mail channel, as well as assist in driving omni-channel strategies that leverage email and display for reaching target audiences through a comprehensive approach. Core areas of focus will include development of strategy, awareness and understanding of the competitive landscape, creative and messaging, list segmentation/selection, vendor sourcing and coordination, measurement and analysis in close coordination with internal and external agencies, and forecasting and planning. You will have the support of resources across the team and company to deliver industry-leading results.
What You’ll Do
Deliver measurable results by leading all strategic marketing and operational activities for direct mail leveraging 1st and 3rd party data as well as omni-channel strategies to maximize response and efficiency.
Develop and optimize direct mail campaigns against organizational KPIs and partner with our internal and external analytics teams to refine reporting and establish new test designs.
Utilize data and analytics to create and refine marketing plans and forecasts for the channels and efforts under management.
Monitor efforts and report results to leadership stakeholders as part of the overall marketing investment and optimization process.
Develop customer journeys that become innovative, multi-channel contact strategies that deliver results at the appropriate performance thresholds.
Manage the development and implementation of ongoing test and learn plans to iterate and optimize results month over month.
Drive collaboration across the enterprise, especially with our data team to ensure alignment and execution on KPIs and priorities of the business

What We Look For
7+ years of experience with developing, managing, and optimizing direct mail programs leveraged to drive customer acquisition (or similar).
Experience with CRM marketing via complimentary channels including email and display is strongly desired.
Keen understanding and expertise with core concepts of direct mail including list selection, data strategy, effective creative, copy, printing, efficiency, test design, vendor sourcing etc.
Experience creating robust segmentation with customized creatives to drive engagement within each segment.
Excellent project management and organizational skills; strong attention-to-detail (executing programs and delivering results)
Experience successfully navigating a wide variety of complex stakeholders and resolving challenging situations; driving clarity and solutions.
Track record as an effective collaborator; strong ability to influence, engage and motivate direct and indirect reports and peers.
Works well with internal “clients” and external constituencies in a highly professional manner.
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to leverage data and consumer research to shape strategies and drive outcomes.
