Marketing Lead

We are looking for a Marketing Lead to own and scale CJC Race’s global marketing strategy. This role covers influencer marketing, media relations, events, conferences, game shows, and community platforms such as Discord. You will work closely with leadership and take ownership of building and leading the marketing function from the ground up. This is a high-visibility role with strong ownership, flexible working hours, and an open budget based on experience.



Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute global marketing initiatives across influencers, media partnerships, game shows, conferences, and live events

  • Build, manage, and scale influencer and creator relationships within the gaming and entertainment ecosystem

  • Own and grow community platforms, with Discord as the primary engagement and communication channel

  • Plan and deliver online and offline campaigns, tournaments, showcases, and brand activations

  • Collaborate closely with game development and operations teams (approx. 10 people) to align marketing with product and release timelines

  • Take ownership of building and managing the marketing team, including hiring and performance management

  • Manage marketing budgets and track campaign performance and ROI

  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with Dubai regulations and company policies

  • Report directly to Derek and work closely with GM and Finance teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience in GameFi, blockchain gaming, Web3 gaming, or online gaming platforms

  • Background in gaming marketing, including esports, mobile games, PC/console games, or interactive entertainment

  • Hands-on experience working with game studios, publishers, or gaming communities

  • Strong track record in influencer marketing within gaming or crypto-native ecosystems

  • Experience managing and scaling Discord communities for games, GameFi projects, or online platforms

  • Familiarity with NFTs, play-to-earn mechanics, in-game economies, or token-based incentive systems

  • Experience running online and offline gaming events, tournaments, launches, or showcases

  • Understanding of gamer culture, community dynamics, and content formats that resonate with gaming audiences

  • Leadership experience in building and managing marketing teams in fast-growing environments

  • Comfortable working with open budgets, high ownership, and performance-driven goals

  • Ability to work remotely with flexibility to travel 

  • Experience working across global teams and time zones
