Business Operations and Strategy Associate

We’re looking for a driven, proactive, and exceptional problem solver as a Business Operations & Strategy Associate. You’ll be a key player in driving step-change operational improvements, supporting decision-making workstreams, and pushing strategic initiatives that will directly impact growth, unit economics, and more! Your work will inherently be cross-functional and you will regularly be working with our Founders & Management Team to develop solutions to big problems. You will report to our CFO and enjoy autonomy leading projects. Our ideal candidate is genuinely interested in owning a healthy mix of both strategic and execution-oriented tasks -- if you love wearing multiple hats while solving tough and ambiguous problems, please apply!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the mechanics of our business, go-to-market strategy, customers & products.

  • Own (or support) end-to-end operational and strategic workstreams within GTM, Growth, Strategy, People, and Finance, establishing mission-critical processes.

  • Execute on SaaS revenue recognition, SaaS KPI reporting, working capital, and cash flow modeling workstreams.

  • Drive the successful completion of high-priority projects -- ensuring stakeholder alignment and continuous measurement and improvement.

  • Develop models, tools, and frameworks that reinforce data-driven decision making throughout all levels of our organization.

  • Collaborate between and understand the differing needs of technical and business-focused team members to facilitate efficient coordination and scalable workflows.

  • Support the CFO on strategic initiatives such as GTM experimentation, business case validation, people operations, and more.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • ~2-4 years of work experience in a finance/banking, strategy/consulting, analytics, or operational role (ideally in high-growth B2B SaaS setting) will make you especially successful for this position.

  • Grit, hustle, and a “get-it-done” attitude -- no task is too big or too small -- with the ability to context switch between strategic thinking, deep analytical problem solving, and execution related tasks.

  • Quantitative & systems-based by nature + obsessed with process improvement.

  • Impeccable attention to detail supported by excellent written and verbal cross-functional communication (with a tendency to over-communicate).

  • Motivated self-starter with ownership mentality, a track record of success, and a proven ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks while hitting deadlines.

  • Strong proficiency with Notion, Google Suite, etc. with comfortability learning emerging technologies.

  • Experience with Excel, Salesforce, or Rev Rec tools like SaaSOptics (or willingness to learn!) would be competitive differentiator.
