Position Summary:
Crowd Cow is looking for an eCommerce Marketing Manager to be responsible for site experience, landing page design, event coordination and more. This role is high profile, and sits at the intersection of several functions, including marketing, merchandising, engineering. The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable (or at a minimum, curious!) about different cuts of meat and knows how to blend storytelling and UX to sell them. This role is a blend of being responsible for day to day ecomm KPI’s like site conversion, and longer term project management of marketing campaigns that will require weeks todesign, coordinate, and launch.
What You'll Do:
Manage and curate Crowd Cow’s site experience, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly experience for our customers.
Coordinate with cross functional partners (marketing, supply chain, and engineering) to launch special events, including seasonal holidays and farm/product launches. You will project manage and ensure everyone is doing their parts to ensure a successful launch.
Develop a compelling website that reflects Crowd Cow's brand identity and values.
Use your discerning eye to make use of product images and lifestyle photography that showcase the quality and story behind each CrowdCow offering.
Oversee the optimization of product pages to deliver on KPI’s of site conversion and revenue.
Stay current on e-commerce best practices and merchandising trends, and implement data-driven strategies to enhance the customer journey.
Analyze website traffic and user behavior to identify areas for improvement and optimize product placement and presentation.
Work with the creative department and the marketing team to incorporate storytelling elements that resonate with our target audience.
Manage and maintain the product information database, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the website.
What you Bring:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in direct to consumer UX and site optimization.
Proven track record of success in driving sales and conversions through website optimization strategies.
Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and user experience (UX) principles.
Familiarity with GA4.
Excellent visual communication skills with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for agriculture, sustainability, and high-quality food.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Bonus points for:
Familiarity with different cuts of meat.
Experience working in the food or agricultural industry.
Experience using contentful.
Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) tools and techniques.
Compensation: The starting base salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually. This critical role will also be eligible for equity as part of the total compensation package.
