Job Description

We are currently looking for a full-time social media specialist to join our social media team. The social media specialist will be responsible for posting on behalf of our clients on a variety of social platforms--including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google Posts, and Pinterest, while regularly reporting insights gained from social media monitoring to the social media manager and also developing, implementing and managing a social media strategy for assigned clients.

The right candidate will be able to follow directions when it comes to established writing and publishing processes, and should be eager to learn and advance their knowledge of social media management best practices. The social media specialist will also be responsible for social content scheduling, working with clients to understand and replicate their voice, as well as maintaining and defining important social media KPIs. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Implement social media strategies for multiple clients that build brand awareness, generate website traffic, and create conversation

  • Creation of content which meets customer standards  

  • Develop and deliver social media optimization

  • Stay current with social media trends and best practices. 

  • Research opportunities for new social marketing platforms and select adapt current process to fit client needs

  • Plan and create content plans for clients on a monthly basis

  • Creating and managing monthly reporting

  • Meet with clients and internal teams to discuss reporting, strategy and platform changes

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to meet deadlines on a daily schedule

  • Moderate understanding of social media platforms (Including Facebook, Twitter, Google Posts, Pinterest and Instagram)

  • Interest in trending topics, pop culture and current events

  • Project management and organization skills

  • Ability to write great engaging and creative web copy in a real time environment that can stimulate user interaction, discussion and engagement

  • Facebook Insights, HootSuite, and YouTube knowledge is a plus
