
Customer Success Strategist
About the role
We're looking for a driven Customer Success Strategist to own client relationships and drive link-building delivery for our clients. You'll manage multiple projects in parallel, run client communication directly, and adapt strategy as project needs evolve.
This is hands-on work. You'll engage with website owners and publishers to secure placements for our clients, run the day-to-day on each account, and report progress monthly. Familiarity with, or curiosity about, how brands appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini is a strong plus.
We're hiring for a long-term, project-based collaboration.
Key responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of client accounts as their primary point of contact.
Promote client content through targeted email outreach to authoritative websites and publications.
Identify link-building and brand mention opportunities through industry-specific research.
Track placements, manage budgets, and report results monthly.
Run client calls confidently - onboarding, monthly reviews, and ad-hoc strategy conversations.
Collaborate with our SEO and AEO leads on client strategy.
Stay current on how AI search engines cite and surface brands, and bring that lens to client work over time.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication.
At least two years of work experience, ideally in a client-facing or account management role.
Ability to manage multiple projects across industries with strict attention to detail.
Strong sense of personal accountability and time management.
Comfortable on video calls with clients.
Able to ask for help when needed and support colleagues proactively.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent change.
Preferred qualifications
Working understanding of SEO fundamentals and how search engines work.
Curiosity about AI search and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) - what it is, why brands need to appear in AI-generated answers, and how that visibility is built.
Experience in customer support, customer success, or another customer-facing role.
Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tools (Airtable, Asana, Slack, Peec.ai, Ahrefs).
Experience with digital PR, editorial outreach, or publisher relationships.
