Position Overview
Extropy Advisors is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Lead to join our team. As an HR Lead, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing our human resources functions. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and excels at building strong relationships across the organization.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offers.
Coordinate and improve the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and communications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
Support performance management processes, including reviews, feedback sessions, and development plans.
Stay updated on HR best practices and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Function-specific Operational Support:
Help maintain and organize operational documentation
Assist in preparing internal reports and presentations
Support the team with research tasks
Aid in process improvement initiatives
Help track and organize team resources
Communication & Collaboration:
Learn business etiquette and professional communication
Develop organizational and time management skills
Build proficiency in business software and tools
Gain exposure to business best practices
Participate in relevant training sessions
Requirements
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a generalist or specialist capacity.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
Experience with handling people issues.
Experience with recruiting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HR software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and payroll systems.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with employee engagement and retention strategies.
Benefits
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000
Annual bonus based on performance, up to 15% of annual salary
