
Email Technician - Klaviyo Pro
We are looking for an email marketing technician who would like to, or already is specialized in Klaviyo. They are responsible for the technical side of implementing email marketing strategies and setting up flows [automations], email campaigns, forms, segments, and integrations within Klaviyo to help our eCommerce clients succeed.
We do not require a deep understanding of email marketing, or the Klaviyo Platform. We provide the training that you will need, but we expect you to learn quickly as you go. You should be a detail-oriented person who understands how tiny adjustments can yield major results.
We are looking for long term, committed individuals who are wanting to establish a career for themselves.
Your Responsibilities
We expect our Klaviyo technicians to…
Set up Klaviyo Flows (automated email sequences) and email campaigns (aka broadcast or newsletter)
Set up Store integrations in Klaviyo
Set up Campaigns’ content
Collaborate with the Email Marketing Specialists to figure out what’s possible with our current tools

Required Skills and Experience
You’re extremely detail-oriented — you should have a knack for seeing both the granular details and their larger effects at the same time (ie: seeing both the trees and the forest)
You have strong English skills (you should be able to maintain technical conversations)
You’re a highly organized and gifted time manager
You thrive on self-management, taking the initiative and constantly willing to learn new things
You have great communication skills and can explain complex problems in simple terms
You’re attentive and thorough — you need to understand what each flow or campaign hopes to accomplish
Nice to Have

Experience working with the Klaviyo platform
Experience working with other email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, SendinBlue…)
Experience working with Asana, GSuite, Slack, and spam testing tools
Thorough understanding of Digital Marketing
General understanding of Marketing Strategy
Familiarity with editing HTML pages — you don’t need to know how to code an email from scratch, but some basic knowledge goes a long way
Experience creating mind maps for Flowcharts
Familiar with a programming language (this is a technical position where you will build automations using the predefined program/building blocks)
