
Manager, Paid Social (Meta)

With over 1 million customers, a mid 8-figure annual paid media budget, and creative volume exceeding 300 new assets per month, Freebird is scaling fastâand weâre looking for a sharp, execution-focused Manager of Paid Social to help us take things to the next level.
The Opportunity
Weâre hiring a Manager, Paid Social to own the day-to-day execution, testing, and optimization of our Meta ad program. Youâll work directly under our Director of Paid Media, taking campaign management and creative performance testing off their plate so they can focus on high-level strategy and scaling.
While Meta (Facebook + Instagram) will be your core focus, thereâs also opportunity to expand into other paid social platforms like TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and emerging channels over time.
This is a high-impact role where youâll drive real revenue outcomes, manage significant monthly budgets, and work side-by-side with our in-house creative team to test fast and scale what performs.
Key Responsibilities
đ Campaign Management
Launch, manage, and optimize high-volume paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook + Instagram).
Own audience strategy, bidding (CBO/ABO), budget pacing, and campaign structure for maximum scalability.
Monitor daily performance across key metrics like CAC, ROAS, CVR, CTR, MER, and contribution margin.
đ¨ Creative Testing & Collaboration
Partner closely with our in-house creative team to test dozens of weekly assets, drive high-converting creative strategies, and provide structured feedback loops.
Own creative testing frameworksâidentify top hooks, formats, angles, and storytelling styles that scale profitably.
Proactively brief the creative team with insights, data-backed recommendations, and emerging trends.
đ Analytics & Optimization
Use MTA and attribution tools (e.g., TripleWhale, GA4, Haus) to drive optimization decisions based on incrementality, blended metrics, and down-funnel performance.
Identify creative fatigue, audience performance trends, and conversion leaks across the funnel.
Build and manage structured testing roadmaps to ensure constant iteration and growth.
đ§ Collaboration & Communication
Partner with your Director of Paid Media on strategy alignment, budget planning, and scaling decisions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Ecommerce, and CRO teams to align Meta campaign execution with landing pages, offers, and funnel optimizations.
Clearly communicate wins, learnings, and recommendations through reports, Looms, and Slack.
Requirements
Have 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Meta ads at scale, ideally in a DTC or eCommerce brand/agency spending $1M+/month.
Are fluent in full-funnel media buyingâaudiences, placements, bidding, exclusions, and campaign structure.
Thrive in performance-driven environmentsâyou live in dashboards, think in CAC and contribution margin, and scale what works.
Have experience collaborating with creative teams and can guide high-volume testing across formats, hooks, and storytelling styles.
Are confident in attribution and analysis using tools like Triple Whale, GA4, and Shopify.
Communicate clearly and proactivelyâwhether itâs a Slack update, a Loom walkthrough, or a campaign performance report.
Are self-motivated, resourceful, and thrive in high-growth, fast-moving environments.
Bonus: Experience managing paid campaigns on TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, or other social platforms.
