Insights and Brand Strategy Manager

Glooko is seeking an Insights and Brand Strategy Manager to play a pivotal role in helping us make more informed decisions, optimize marketing efforts, and achieve our marketing objectives in a competitive market environment. Your contribution will be instrumental in our mission to improve the lives of people with chronic conditions by connecting them with those who care for them and equipping them to achieve positive health outcomes, increased access, improved satisfaction, and reduced costs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand consumer preferences, behaviors, and trends. This includes analyzing data from surveys, focus groups, social media, and other sources to identify market opportunities and challenges.

  • Evaluate competitors' strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.

  • Using data analytics and customer feedback to gain deep insights into consumer preferences, needs, and motivations. This information helps in creating targeted marketing campaigns and product offerings.

  • Develop marketing strategies and plans based on research findings and insights. This includes defining target audiences, positioning brands, setting marketing objectives, and outlining tactics to achieve goals.

  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaigns' performance to assess their effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for optimization. This may involve adjusting messaging, targeting, or channels based on performance metrics.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to anticipate changes in consumer behavior and market dynamics. This helps you stay ahead of competitors and adapt your strategies accordingly.

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Sales, and Finance to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.

  • Providing strategic advice and recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders based on research findings, market insights, and industry best practices.

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing research, strategic planning, or related roles with an understanding of market research analysis, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and strategic consulting. Healthcare and/or digital health experience preferred, especially diabetes-related experience

  • Experience gathering, interpreting, and synthesizing data from various sources to derive meaningful insights and develop effective strategies.

  • The ability to conduct comprehensive market research, including quantitative and qualitative research methods such as surveys, focus groups, interviews, and data mining.

  • A history of developing actionable insights and strategies that align with business goals and drive growth, which includes the ability to identify market opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, and recommend strategic initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for clearly and compellingly presenting research findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders.

  • The capacity to identify challenges, analyze complex issues, and develop innovative solutions to address business needs and capitalize on market opportunities.

  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Finance, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of strategies.

  • The marketing landscape is dynamic, so staying updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to remain effective in their role is vital.
