Senior Campaign Manager, Google Ads
THE OPPORTUNITY:
GR0 is seeking an exceptional Senior Campaign Manager, Google Ads, to join our growing team of Google Ads experts and drive results for our diverse roster of clients.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have sufficient experience managing large client budgets in both Google & Microsoft Ads for a variety of verticals, including but not limited to: E-Commerce, B2B, Local Services, and others.
This person is a natural leader and expert communicator who is happy to foster and train junior team members, while ensuring client success and identifying opportunities for system and workflow improvements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Manage a book of business (Google Ads/Microsoft Ads accounts) within the GR0 MCC with the support of junior level Media Buyers.
Be an expert in Google Ads products (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, etc) and industry best practices in order to better explain and communicate that information to clients, specifically around GR0's implementation of these services.
Plan, implement, and report on comprehensive Google/Microsoft Ads marketing strategies to meet and exceed client goals.
Use general knowledge of the digital advertising landscape to identify client business needs, campaign performance objectives, and opportunities to grow relationships and client investments.
Meet with clients on a regular basis to report results and adjust strategies for your brands to meet and exceed client KPIs, while facilitating daily standups with Media Buyers to discuss account progress, wins, and obstacles.
Act as a primary point of contact throughout the customer journey through a combination of email, slack, and video calls, helping to address customer concerns, solve problems, and remove obstacles to customer success.
Compile and present weekly and monthly reports to the clients using Data Studio and manual reporting with the support of our Data Visualization team to communicate performance and strategy, helping them understand the benefits and future of the ad campaign.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions and reports, according to client campaigns and objectives.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
4+ years of experience managing multiple client portfolios in the Google Ads industry with monthly budgets ranging between $50,000-$1,000,000/month per client.
Demonstrated expertise of the digital advertising landscape and the various Google Ads advertising models.
Experience in a senior or managerial role in a Google Ads agency or department.
Proficient knowledge of Google, Microsoft, Social advertising, and website user experience.
Experience using keyword research tools and web analytics tools with the ability to incorporate these tools into Google Ads campaigns (Google Analytics is a must).
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and chart building, as well as experience with Google Workplace.
An understanding of customer lifetime value and how to optimize towards profits based on client margins.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

You enjoy working with project management frameworks to track and complete key deliverables and outstanding items.
You enjoy meeting with clients and discussing results with them, and can reassure them when KPI’s are below their goals.
You are experimental and highly analytical, and very comfortable using data to drive your decisions.
You are passionate about working across various industries and helping small and medium businesses scale their sales and digital presence.
WHAT DOES THE HIRING PROCESS ENTAIL:
Stage 1 (Recruiter Screen) - After you submit your application, our talent recruitment team will review and reach out to candidates. During this 15-minute phone call, we’ll discuss your career journey and professional motivators while learning about GR0 overall and the position.
Stage 2 (Take-Home Interview) - Replacing an additional video interview, we will send you a relevant set of questions and exercises, which we expect will take about 30 minutes to complete.
Stage 3 (Initial Interview) - The first video interview with at least one GR0 team member will involve 30 minutes of reviewing your take-home interview and diving deeper into the GR0 processes, tools, core values, and company roadmap.
Stage 4 (Panel Interview) - Your most important video interview will be a 45-minute conversation with at least three GR0 team members, including your possible future manager. During this time, you will present a case to our team, answer additional questions, and have ample time to ask questions of us.
Stage 5 (Co-Founders Connect) - The second-to-last conversation of the interview process is always a chance for you to connect with our CEO and Co-Founder, Kevin Miller, and our Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder, Jon Zacharias.
Stage 6 (Offer) - If a #GR0mance has brewed, we will make you a competitive offer and hope you’ll accept!

Shared Financial Success - GR0 believes strongly in equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total annual salary for this role is market competitive- $85,000 - $105,000 (commensurate with experience), as well as a competitive commission structure and company stock options.
