About the Role

We are seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) dynamic HR Generalist to build a world-class team, aligning with our organizational values and objectives. This vital role encompasses attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, implementing innovative HR practices, and acting as a strategic partner to both employees and management. 

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment, driving employee engagement, career growth, and performance excellence, thereby ensuring our organization's success and sustainability. 

Since this is a part-time position, you’ll need to be available for some overlapping hours with our team from 6pm-9pm PST. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment process to ensure a steady pipeline of high-caliber candidates, conducting interviews weekly to meet staffing needs. 

  • Develop and manage comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated and productive. 

  • Facilitate ongoing learning and development opportunities to achieve team members'  professional growth and development objectives. 

  • Oversee performance management processes, including regular feedback, performance appraisals, and performance-based compensation to align with organizational goals. 

  • Cultivate and maintain a positive organizational culture, addressing any gaps and implementing initiatives that reinforce core values, enhance employee engagement, and improve workplace satisfaction. 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR practices, particularly in recruiting, onboarding, team development, and performance management. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar. 

  • Strong understanding of HR operations and strategy within a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven track record in successfully building and scaling teams in dynamic environments. 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. 

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and relevant software applications. 

  • Flexibility to attend meetings between 6:00 pm-9:00 pm Pacific Time due to distributed team members.
