Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Opportunity

Morningside Group (Morningside AI, AAA Accelerator, and related ventures) is hiring a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us find, attract, and onboard top talent across technical, consulting, education, and operations roles.

We’re growing fast and need a sharp, proactive recruiter who can source, screen, and coordinate high-quality candidates with speed and precision.

This is a remote, hourly-based role with flexible working hours depending on hiring volume.

There is an opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on fit and company needs as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with leadership to understand hiring needs and role requirements.

- Source and engage candidates across platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, and relevant communities.

- Manage Tally applications, screen candidates, and move top profiles forward.

- Conduct initial screening calls (15-minute intro interviews) to assess fit.

- Coordinate second-stage interviews with the person responsible for hiring (e.g., Managing Director or relevant team lead).

- Publish and maintain new job posts across multiple hiring platforms.

- Actively find and outreach to candidates through sourcing efforts (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter) who match both talent and cultural fit.

- Maintain organized tracking of candidates and hiring status across Tally and Airtable.

- Suggest improvements to hiring processes, funnels, and candidate experience.

Essential Experience

- 2+ years of experience in recruitment, sourcing, or talent acquisition (agency or in-house).

- Proven success filling technical, consulting, or business roles in fast-paced environments.

- Strong communication skills with candidates and internal teams.

- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously.

- Familiarity with Tally, Airtable, or similar tracking and applicant management tools.

Desirable Skills

- Experience recruiting for startups, tech, AI, consulting, or education companies.

- Ability to assess candidates not just on skills, but cultural and performance fit.

- Familiarity with AI tools and basic automation platforms.

- Familiarity with remote hiring best practices and global talent sourcing.
