Automation & Systems Integration Specialist (Zapier / Python / JS)

Role Overview

You’ll work with senior automation consultants to support multiple client projects and help design and maintain the integrations that power our clients’ sales and marketing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, efficiency, and solving complex technical puzzles.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain automations using Zapier, ensuring accurate data flow across CRMs, forms, and databases

• Write and refine Python and JavaScript scripts for webhooks, API integrations, and data formatting

• Set up and optimize email automations and workflows in HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, and Pipedrive

• Configure and maintain CRM data — mapping fields, managing associations, and cleaning contact records

• Troubleshoot automation failures (Zapier task errors, webhook timeouts, 400/401 responses, etc.)

• Audit and improve workflow logic for speed, reliability, and maintainability

• Create and update documentation for all automations and integrations

• Test and validate deliverables before deployment

• Participate in async check-ins and project management via Trello, Slack, and Loom

• Occasionally assist with GA4 or GTM event setup and tagging for marketing analytics

• Create CRM dashboards and reports

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in automation, CRM management, or related technical work

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

• Based in LATAM or North America

• Available Monday–Friday, Eastern Time Zone

• Able to join Zoom calls with camera on

• Reliable high-speed internet (80 Mbps or higher)

• Can type at least 40 words per minute

• Open to using an Upwork account and working exclusively under Growth Geyser’s agency for assigned projects (we handle client communication, contracts, and billing — you focus on execution)
