Position summary

Harness is seeking a Creative Director to join our marketing team and lead global creative efforts. Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Marketing, you will oversee a talented geo-distributed team of creatives to elevate the Harness brand across multiple platforms.

This role requires a visionary leader who can champion innovative ideas and strategies that resonate with our audience, ensuring consistent and compelling brand messaging. You’ll drive creative excellence in all marketing initiatives, from digital campaigns to content creation and visual storytelling.

About the role

  • Cultivate and enhance Harness’ core brand identity, voice, visual diagrams, and explanatory visuals

  • Lead a diverse team of brand designers, offering mentorship, career development, and creative guidance

  • Evaluate creative strategies, analyze competitor efforts, and implement a cohesive creative vision

  • Generate concepts for content initiatives, influencer partnerships, sponsorships, and co-branding projects

  • Demonstrate thought leadership and early adoption of AI and other efficiency tools to enable greater productivity and expansive testing and optimization

About you

  • Demonstrated success leading creative campaigns and brand development for SaaS organizations

  • Strong creative strategy and direction experience across full-funnel initiatives, from concept through execution

  • Hands-on mastery of design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, etc.) and awareness of current design trends

  • Background in B2B communications with an understanding of relevant target audiences

  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for storytelling and craftsmanship

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives

  • Proven experience in team management, including hiring, feedback, and fostering a design-centric culture

Pay transparency: $180,000–$210,000 USD annually, plus commission/variable component, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by location, level, relevant experience, and skills.
