Hey there!  We’re looking for a full-time Latin America-based Bookkeeper 📊

😎 Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and versatile candidate to serve as the full-time finance and accounting team member for two companies that we run (owned by the same family) - Hatch and Skin & Sugar.  If successful, this role could evolve into a Financial Controller position.

✨ About Skin & Sugar

Skin & Sugar is a top skincare spa in Columbus, Ohio, serving 10,000 clients annually across three locations.

⏰ Hours

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (your local time-zone).

💼 What You'll Do

• Manage bookkeeping and finances for both companies.

• Prepare and post journal entries in QuickBooks Online.

• Record revenue and expenses accurately.

• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

• Complete month-end and year-end closing processes and create financial statements.

🚀 Bonus Tasks

• Prepare financial reports with KPIs.

• Forecast financial projections.

• Identify cost-saving measures.

• Run finance projects to drive innovation.

✅ Requirements

• Fluent in English.

• 3+ years in bookkeeping/finance/accounting.

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online.

• Knowledgeable about Accrual and Cash Accounting.

• Familiar with Slack and Gsuite.

🌟 Preferred

• Experience with digital services and retail businesses.

• CPA certification.

• Master’s in Finance or Accounting.

• Big 4 public accounting experience.

• Experience managing accounts receivable/payable.
