The Role
Hermanson is building an integrated, cloud-based, Microsoft-powered platform to streamline operations. The Enterprise Solutions team delivers initiatives including:
Business process changes.
D365 Finance & Operations enhancements.
Power BI and Fabric reporting.
Construction Technology integrations.
This role owns delivery of projects (3–9 months), spanning multiple functions, executed by small internal teams and occasional external partners.
Responsibilities
End-to-end delivery: From charter through go-live, adoption, and closeout.
Planning: Build realistic roadmaps and one-page schedules; update honestly when reality changes.
Risk & issue management: Surface problems early, escalate with options and recommendations.
Scope discipline: Maintain scope, manage change requests, assess cost/schedule impacts.
Partner & budget management: Manage vendors against SOWs, deliverables, hours, and change orders.
Cross-functional coordination: Engage SMEs, IT, finance, and operations resources effectively.
Reporting & communication: Provide clear, factual status updates.
Value confirmation: Define success measures upfront and confirm benefits post-deployment.
Compensation
Salary range: $115,000–$150,000 (based on experience, skills, and knowledge).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years managing business/process improvement projects.
Experience building delivery structures (plans, dependencies, approaches).
Technical literacy to engage with developers/data engineers.
Comfortable with modern work-tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project, Excel).
Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
Proven follow-through and ability to close loops.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction, specialty trades, or project-based businesses.
Experience with D365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX.
Familiarity with Microsoft stack (Power BI, Power Platform, Fabric, Azure DevOps).
PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or comparable certification.
Demonstrated use of AI tools for productivity.
Experience delivering scalable, secure AI solutions.
Interview Process

How the Role Starts
Pick up an initiative already in flight.
Carry 3–4 initiatives at different stages by year-end.
Location & Work Arrangement
Fully remote, open to candidates anywhere in the U.S.
Headquarters: Kent, Washington.
Core collaboration hours: 7AM–3PM PT (10AM–6PM ET).
Occasional travel to Kent (~once per year).
