The Opportunity

As Senior Events Planner, you shape how ImpactAssets and ImpactAssets Capital Partners show up in the world - translating brand, relationships, and mission into experiences that resonate. You design, manage, and execute experiences across the full range of event types; client and prospect convenings, thought leadership forums, virtual programming, and internal events that keep a mission-driven organization connected and aligned.

Partnering directly with C-suite and senior stakeholders, you bring strategic thinking and flawless execution in equal measure. An expert project manager with a sharp eye for detail, you read rooms well, anticipate needs, and know how to translate complex messaging into moments that stick. The audience will span sustainability-minded ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and private foundations, and your discretion matches the trust they place in this organization.
         

The Senior Events Planner role is a full time, remote position and can work from anywhere in the US with work hours open to any time zone. Additional requirement: Travel up to 25% will be required, as will working irregular hours.  

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

  • Serve as primary event advisor to C-suite and senior stakeholders, translating strategic objectives, brand priorities, and key messaging into exceptional, bespoke experiences

  • Partner with HR and other department leaders to plan and execute internal in-person events including one annual all-hands and four department offsites, ensuring they are engaging, well-organized, and operationally smooth

  • Partner with the CEO and Executive team to plan and execute any in-person Board meetings

  • Source and cultivate relationships with top-tier vendors, venues, designers, caterers, and other partners across the country

  • Create comprehensive event plans including but not limited to; concept, program, timelines, vendor selection and management, invitation strategy, logistics 

  • Partner on messaging and event flow of in-person and virtual events including scripting and coordination of internal and external partners

Execution 

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of bespoke events including managing the end-to-end process for pre, during, and post-event activities and follow-up

  • Oversee onsite event execution, directing teams and third-party partners to deliver seamless guest experience and resolve issues in real time

  • Oversee delivery of virtual brand events, partnering with internal teams on content and execution 

  • Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, procurement, and financial reconciliation with strict cost-control, value-maximization and an eye to sustainability

  • Ensure absolute discretion, confidentiality and sensitivity to client privacy and security requirements

  • Guarantee compliance with legal, tax, permitting, insurance and any other regulations as applicable

  • Deliver post-event reporting, ROI analysis, debriefs and recommendations for ongoing relationship management and event improvement

  • Where applicable, mentor and manage junior event staff or outside contractors

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on luxury/private events experience

  • Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Professional certifications (CMP, DES, or equivalent) preferred

  • Demonstrable history planning events for UHNWIs, family offices, foundations, corporations or equivalent high-net-worth contexts

  • Strong vendor/venue network and demonstrated ability to negotiate and secure exclusive access and premium services within the designated budget and manage vendors through execution

  • Proven track record managing sophisticated stakeholders (HNW/family offices, foundations, corporates) and coordinating complex, cross‑functional deliverables

  • Budget management experience handling multi-tiered, high-value event budgets and contract negotiation

  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneously under tight timelines

  • Outstanding interpersonal communication, diplomacy, cultural sensitivity and adaptability

  • High standards for discretion, confidentiality and professional conduct

  • Advanced problem-solving and crisis management under pressure

  • Up to 25% travel and willingness to work irregular hours

  • Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and ability to identify and implement process improvements

  • Strong Excel skills required and ability to interface with various technology systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications 

  • Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration tools, Box and Asana preferred

  • Knowledge and passion for using investing as a means by which to engender social or environmental impact preferred

  • Base salary ranges from $110,000 - $140,000 and is highly dependent on experience and location
