The Role

As a Brand Design Lead you’ll elevate the visual expression of In Tandem across our portfolio of consumer brands and own how they show up in the world across websites, paid media, app store listings, emails, and more.

This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role with full responsibility for brand design across all marketing touchpoints. You’ll bring strong design craft and expert-level communication skills to creative execution with confidence and independence, while collaborating closely with Growth, Product, and Marketing Leadership.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Mature and strengthen visual systems that scale across channels

  • Collaborate in strategic brand strategy conversations to future-proof brand positions

  • Own website and landing page design strategy and execution

  • Develop high-performing paid media creative (Meta, Google, TikTok, emerging platforms)

  • Partner with Growth Marketing to iterate and optimize creative based on performance data

  • Lead creative for app store listings, positioning, and conversion optimization

  • Design for email and lifecycle marketing campaigns

  • Provide creative direction and oversight for video production (CTV ads, short-form video, podcast reads, motion graphics)

  • Increase brand affinity and trust through thoughtful, high-quality design

  • Raise the standard of creative excellence across the organization

Who You Are

  • Strong design judgment and high standards for craft and quality

  • Highly autonomous and thrive with ownership

  • Do not require art direction — design principles are deeply internalized

  • Balance brand integrity with performance marketing realities

  • Invested in how AI can maximize creative output, with a strong POV on its use

  • Low-ego and collaborative, able to work fluidly with cross-functional teams

  • Communicate design rationale clearly and confidently

  • Care deeply about clarity, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy

  • Motivated by building systems and brands that stand the test of time

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in brand, consumer, or marketing design roles

  • Experience leading brand design at a consumer startup or high-growth company

  • Strong portfolio showcasing web, paid media, lifecycle, and digital product marketing work

  • Deep expertise in typography, layout systems, and visual hierarchy

  • Experience building motion/video assets and leveraging production teams/vendors

  • Comfort designing for both brand-building and performance-driven initiatives

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with growth and product teams

  • Expert-level proficiency in modern design tools (Figma required; motion/video familiarity a plus)

Bonus Points

  • Experience in DTC, consumer apps, or subscription businesses

  • Experience designing for family-focused or mission-driven brands

  • Experience working across multiple brands within a portfolio
