At JoySpring, we create video content with a purpose: to learn, iterate, and grow. We’re looking for a Performance Video Editor who understands how short-form video drives growth across paid social platforms.
This role focuses on creating short-form video creatives designed for testing, iteration, and measurable performance — turning insights, briefs, and performance signals into high-impact creative assets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop performance-driven video concepts based on marketing briefs, audience insights, and campaign objectives
Edit short-form, social-first video content designed to support testing, iteration, and measurable creative performance
Create intentional variations (hooks, pacing, framing, CTAs) to support testing and optimization
Translate successful concepts into multiple scalable creative executions to support ongoing experimentation
Apply performance signals such as engagement, retention patterns, and audience response to continuously improve creative output
Collaborate closely with marketing teams to review results, interpret insights, and iterate on creative direction
Use AI-assisted tools to support ideation, editing workflows, captioning, and efficient creative production
Deliver polished, production-ready video drafts with strong self-editing applied
Ensure all assets meet brand, visual, and technical requirements for distribution
Qualifications
Experience editing short-form digital video content, ideally within performance-oriented marketing environments
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, and call-to-action clarity
Performance-driven creative mindset with the ability to iterate based on data
Familiarity with AI-assisted creative or editing workflows
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
