Digital Event Marketing Manager

About the Job: 

LaunchDarkly is seeking a skilled Digital Event Marketing Manager to join our Global Events team. Reporting to our Head of Event Marketing, this role will be responsible for managing our webinars, virtual events, and partnering with corporate proprietary events, field marketing, integrated campaigns, and sales teams. The ideal candidate will own the creation and calendar for content for events and webinars and will need to travel about 20% of the time. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital event marketing strategies to meet organizational goals.

  • Plan, organize, and manage virtual events, webinars, and other digital event marketing initiatives, managing all speakers and partners to consistently produce polished events.

  • Collaborate with all stakeholders in bringing your digital events to life  including Marketing Operations, BDR, Design, Video, Web, Enablement, Product Marketing, Developer Relations.

  • Partner with field marketing, integrated campaigns, and sales teams to ensure alignment of messaging and strategy across all channels.

  • Own the creation and calendar for content for events and webinars.

  • Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate and optimize event effectiveness.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to deliver high-quality events and webinars.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of events and webinars.

  • Manage budget and resources to optimize return on investment.

  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in digital event marketing and identify new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience. Event marketing preferred, including experience managing in person or virtual events and webinars.

  • Located in the San Francisco Bay Area OR New York City Metropolitan Area 

  • Experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Professional ability to work with cross-functional teams in order to build momentum for upcoming events and beyond each event with engaging followup activations

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute digital event marketing strategies where success metrics were aligned to revenue and pipeline creation.

  • Experience with event management software, virtual event platforms, and webinar platforms. BONUS: Experience managing events through Goldcast & CVENT 

  • Analytical skills to evaluate event effectiveness and optimize future initiatives.

  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%

 

Pay:

Target pay range for a Level 3 in San Francisco/Bay Area: $111,000 - $130,000* 

*Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
