You will be working on Carex Garden Tours, a garden tour brand.
We acquired this wonderful little brand in November 2024 and it is currently growing very strongly!
Carex needs its first ever dedicated marketer to take it to the next step.
You donât need to be a gardening expert, but you do need to be very good at pretending you are :) If youâre the kind of marketer that is very good at engaging in intensive learning about a niche, while incorporating best practices, this could be for you.

You will be responsible for all the day-to-day marketing activities for that brand.
We have a successful marketing playbook that works very well to drive new business. Your job will be to execute on that playbook:
â Optimising and editing the website to ensure ongoing sales. You will add content, edit it, and ensure that it stays up to date.
â Preparing email newsletters, and managing Email Sequences and Automations
â Preparing Facebook ads (primarily retargeting ads), paying close attention to the current leads and sales for each trip, and making sure to focus ad spend where it is most needed.
â Experimenting with New Ad Styles and Channels to Generate More Business
You will also have time to learn and explore new possibilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketer with a particular focus on copywriting and digital marketing strategy. We are a young company that is growing very fast, and that has huge potential. The opportunities for professional growth are as good as it gets when it comes to joining a business like this, at its early stages.!

Create and schedule organic social posts
Track bookings across the brands and trips, and adjust resources and budget to match the needs of the brands
In the first few weeks, you will learn more about the current systems and the Facebook Ads Setup. About Our Culture
Our culture is a bit different to the average company.
We donât have Mission Statements, Vision Statements, or any of that nonsense. While we believe strongly in knowing what we value, we try to avoid Corporate BS like the plague. In fact, if youâre sick of working for companies that put their so-called âValuesâ on the wall but then completely ignore them in the day-to-day business operations, youâre going to love working here.
Embrace our Principles. Our company is different, in a good way. But to keep it that way, we need all team members to embrace our ideas and work to implement them every day.
Work on the Business, As a Team, Every Week. You may have previously worked at companies where the biggest, most important things never happen - because thereâs always something âurgentâ, what truly matters falls by the wayside. Well, not here. And thatâs only possible because all of us pitch in, every day, to make our systems work better.
The future for Leatherback Travel is huge. We are not just launching new brands; we are doing it with a purpose. We don't want to just take our customers to the best places⌠We want to build and create new experiences to share with the world. Our goal is to build walking trails, hiking lodges and create completely new travel routes in unexplored and unappreciated places where local communities are calling for them.
Our team works remotely and right now consists of over 40 people excited about their work, split between Australia and Europe. Our culture is special, and is the right fit for those who are looking to do the best work of their lives.
