Intro

M^0 Labs is seeking a Head of Product who will play a fundamental role in shaping the future of our ecosystem.
As Head of Product you will own conceiving and executing the long-term product roadmap, and you will partner with engineering and other cross-functional teams to bring those products and features to market. Your ultimate purpose will be to expand the capabilities of the M^0 network, allowing several actors better connectivity to a novel decentralized monetary infrastructure.

The M^0 network intends to revolutionize the monetary stack, allowing for digitally-native and programmable money to be incorporated into financial applications. $M is the safest, most transparent, most programmable form of digital money on crypto rails — aka a stablecoin; businesses can mint, hold, program, or whitelabel $M for their own needs, without breaking the network’s liquidity and while maintaining full control over underlying yield distribution.

The use cases and customer journeys enabled by an integration with the M^0 network are almost endless, and require a strategic and pragmatic approach to product shipping. Ultimately, a great Head of Product will be able to effectively prioritize features and experiences without diluting the fundamental vision that M^0 brings.

The M^0 team has contributed to the launch and development of some of the first and most successful stablecoin and DeFi projects in crypto, including Maker’s DAI, Circle’s USDC, and Compound’s first lending markets. The project has attracted c. $60m of venture funding (3-4x the closest competitor) from some of the most prominent investors in tech and crypto, including Bain Capital Crypto, Pantera, Galaxy, ParaFi, Road, AirTree, and other strategic players. You'll be part of a 40+ team with access to the most prominent minds in both blockchain tech and finance, and ultimately play a key role in growing the M^0 network.

Key Responsibilities

Understand customers/ users: develop a deep understanding of M^0 customers’ and users’ needs, consequently becoming the voice of the customer/ user both internally and externally. Segment customers’ needs across the different types of actors present in the M^0 economy. In particular, develop relationships with both crypto-native and non-crypto builders that are integrating stablecoins within their workflows. Those include centralized exchanges, payment processors, DeFi protocols, on-chain treasuries as well as large dollar holders, neo banks, market makers, wholesale financiers, etc.
Build a product roadmap: translate customers’ needs into a prioritized product roadmap, articulating and achieving leadership consensus around a product strategy, as well as conceiving the products and features required to execute on it.
Execute on the roadmap: collaborate with (web3 and web2) engineering and ecosystem development teams in order to execute on product roadmap and bring features to the market in a timely manner and adhering to customers’ needs and opportunities. Build and maintain suites of products and features across many verticals.
Communicate effectively: collaborate with marketing and ecosystem teams in order to position and promote products and services so as to achieve fit with various customer segments. Become the face of the M^0 Labs team when it comes to educating customers on existing and upcoming products, routinely presenting at events and to partners.
Manage a team: manage and expand a distributed team of product managers and product designers in order to scale out the product function over time, with the ultimate goal of becoming one of the most senior leaders of the project over the medium to long term.

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in product management or equivalent entrepreneurship experience.
5-10 years experience bringing tech products to market — ideally fintech products, payment solutions, and developer infrastructure.
Proven experience conceiving and launching several products from inception to maturity.
Demonstrable exceptional writing skills. Ability to express vision and strategy direction clearly in written form.
Sense of ownership and demonstrable ability to drive product outcomes in the market.
Preferably, deep knowledge of cross-chain web3 products as well as blockchain interoperability and messaging solutions — if you don’t know crypto yet, we can ensure you will soon fall in the rabbit hole.
Fluent in English.
