Maze is seeking a creative event manager to lead our digital and in person events, which is pivotal to our growth strategy. 

As the manager of our digital events, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing engaging webinar events to drive audience engagement, generate leads, and promote our brand. You will collaborate closely with various teams to develop content, manage logistics, and ensure seamless execution of virtual events. You will also be the driver for our annual online conference, DiscoConf, partnering across go-to-market teams to ensure an impactful event that drives engagement with target accounts and influences meaningful pipeline. 

On the field marketing side, you will be responsible for owning and driving the strategy for all in person events, from 3rd party sponsorships, Maze-hosted events, and regional, account-based activities (eg., executive dinners) aligned with our business objectives and target audience. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless integration of events into our overall marketing strategies and oversee everything from venue selection to vendor management, budgeting, and timelines. Additionally, you will lead the charge in engaging our audience through targeted campaigns, leveraging various marketing channels such as email, social media, and content marketing to promote our events effectively. 

This role requires a creative, detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for delivering high-quality experiences, both online and in person.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive webinar strategy aligned with organizational goals and our target audience

  • Identify topics, formats, and speakers that resonate with our audience to drive engagement and lead generation

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and content creators to develop compelling webinar content

  • Manage webinar platform, including setup, testing, troubleshooting, registration processes, attendee communication, and post-event follow-up

  • Develop promotional strategies to drive event attendance and audience growth as well as post event engagement

  • Use data-driven insights to optimize future webinar strategies, content, and delivery, including the analysis of track webinar performance, attendee behavior, and engagement metrics. 

  • Find innovative ways to redistribute and reuse the content created within the webinar program, from paid demand management to blogs to PDFs and beyond

  • Plan and execute end-to-end B2B events, including trade shows, conferences, seminars, webinars, and workshops

  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, associations, and media outlets to expand event reach

  • Monitor and analyze event performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, and ROI

  • Foster a collaborative environment, working closely across marketing and sales, globally 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Track record of success with 2 - 3+ years of experience in SaaS B2B event marketing experience (both digital and in person experience a plus)

  • Experience with leading online event platforms (Goldcast a plus)

  • Proven experience carrying out event marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy

  • Experience partnering with an enterprise sales team, and understanding the impact of events through the customer lifecycle

  • Ability to travel 2 - 3x per quarter to support in person events
