Digital Marketing Specialist

The Opportunity

Exciting news - Mixmax hit $12 million in annual revenue and we’re profitable! We just raised more money and are looking to invest more to accelerate growth.

As a Digital Marketing Specialist for Mixmax, you will manage and grow our paid media channels to deliver a qualified pipeline for the sales team. You have a growth mindset, have a proven track record of meeting pipeline targets, and stay on top of trends to understand current best practices and benchmarks in digital marketing.

The role can be based anywhere in Canada.

Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and execute ad campaigns across paid media channels

  • Test and iterate on creative, messaging, landing pages and offers to perform at or above industry standards

  • Regularly report on all ad spend, return on investment and influenced revenue

  • Manage website updates and changes as needed with web developers

  • Monitor and improve the website conversion rate

  • Coordinate with the content team to amplify campaigns across all relevant channels 

  • Work with product marketing to iterate and improve messaging and positioning based on ad results

Within Three Months, You'll

  • Have a solid understanding of Mixmax and how we help our customers

  • Create a paid media campaign plan that aligns with the overall marketing plan

  • Start executing campaigns and/or improving on current campaigns

  • Develop a process for paid digital campaign ideation, approval and publishing 

Within Six Months, You'll

  • Consistently meet metrics for leads, pipeline and ROAS

  • Have a deep understanding of what type of ads and offers resonate with Sales, Customer Success and RevOps leaders 

  • Have an automated system for reporting on results of campaigns for the broader team

  • Create a process for conversion rate optimization across landing pages and the website

Skills and Background

  • 3+ years in a digital marketing role at a SaaS company

  • A proven track record of hitting increasing pipeline targets 

  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic and strong attention to detail

  • Experience managing paid media budgets of at least $1 million / year 

  • Highly organized and metrics-driven

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

  • Open to feedback and constant iteration and improvement

  • Great organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and keep stakeholders informed

  • Possesses a sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
