A Glimpse at Your Day as Our WordPress Developer
We’re looking for a Senior WordPress Developer who thrives on building clean, responsive, and SEO-optimized websites. A strong candidate will have experience working at a digital marketing agency or in a similarly fast-paced environment where attention to detail and performance matter.
This role is perfect for someone who loves combining front-end development (HTML, CSS, responsive design) with the power of WordPress. Experience with plugin development and deep knowledge of technical SEO best practices will make you an especially strong fit.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites and custom themes
Translate design mockups (Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD/etc) into functional, pixel-perfect front-end code
Write clean, semantic, and maintainable HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, and technical SEO
Collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and backend developersTroubleshoot, debug, and improve WordPress templates and front-end code
Requirements
4+ years of experience in front-end/WordPress development
Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, animations, transitions)
Proven experience with responsive web development and WordPress theme customization
Understanding of basic PHP for WordPress template integration
Familiarity with JavaScript/jQuery for front-end interactivity
Strong attention to detail with a focus on pixel-perfect execution
Knowledge of Git and modern workflows is a plus
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with headless WordPress setups or modern JS frameworks (React, Vue)
Experience with technical SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices
Knowledge of SCSS/SASS or other CSS preprocessors
Basic knowledge of Figma or Adobe XD for design handoff
Plugin and Theme development experience
