Position Overview
The Strategic Account Director is a senior, quota-carrying sales role within NetReputation's Strategic Accounts Department. This is a relationship-driven expansion sales position. The SAD owns the full 2nd-sale lifecycle across a book of roughly 150 accounts, driving revenue growth through upsells, renewals, and win-backs.
Success in this role requires a sharp commercial instinct, a genuine fluency in ORM and SEO, and the ability to build trusted advisor relationships that translate directly into revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for the business side of the relationship working closely with the assigned Account Manager.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota targets for renewal and expansion revenue
Understand each client's goals, challenges, and objectives, and build a tailored expansion revenue strategy based on their specific needs
Conduct regular client check-ins to assess satisfaction, surface concerns, and proactively identify growth and upsell opportunities
Act as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering actionable insights that help them achieve their ORM and SEO objectives
Save at-risk accounts by promptly engaging clients who signal cancellation intent and presenting compelling retention solutions
Routinely follow up with lapsed clients to reignite interest and cultivate re-engagement of their services
Maintain accurate, up-to-date client, prospect, and pipeline data within Zoho CRM
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
A dynamic, self-motivated self-starter with 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in ORM and/or SEO. Deep technical fluency in these disciplines is required
Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the demonstrated ability to establish rapport quickly and earn trust with both clients and colleagues
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, startup-style environment where agility and ownership are essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills. You communicate with clarity, confidence, and professionalism
Proficiency with CRM platforms; experience with Zoho CRM is a plus
